Shrinking Disc's to suit 9" Grinders.
They must be used with a Sanding Backing Pad and Nut (use 7" they fit 9" grinders) these are readily available at any good tool place.
Imagine, no high cost of oxy to shrink ! They save time & money.
Simply run the disc over the high area to be shrunk (no need to even blue the steel to get it to shrink) and cool off rapidly. We recommend air instead of water to do this as we're using a power tool, saves water all over the floor & of course, air doesn't promote rust.
As with most of our Speciality Tools, they are made from Stainless Steel. We have developed unique dies, with the centre slightly raised to avoid the chance it popping and becoming convex (which would render it useless as what heppens to the cheep metal spun discs) We have incorporated a safety edge to also aid strength. The manufacturing process is done by Hydro forming, this means we can use a heavier gauge material (1.6mm) thicker than those made by conventional spinning. (a Better product & of course Aussie Made!)
